MAGIC LINE UP FULL
Though the Secret Lair releases aren't full sets, the cards can be incorporated into Magic: The Gathering decks. Neither Secret Lair collaboration has received specific release dates, only that they'll be coming in 2022. Street Fighter, on the other hand, is only getting one drop, but Wizards of the Coast has announced Chun-Li will have a card featuring her multikick attack.
Fortnite is set to receive two Secret Lair drops, though no information has been revealed about what cards are coming. Wizards of the Coasts' limited edition special card drops Secret Lair, is also returning, expanding the Magic: The Gathering multiverse to include Fortnite and Street Fighter. The plane is also getting an expansion with The Brothers' War, described by Wizards of the Coast as a " plane-spanning conflict" worthy of 30 years of play. Additionally, the classic world of Dominaria, first released in the Magic: The Gathering universe in 1992, is making a comeback in Dominaria Unlimited. The sets also vary widely in genre, as Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty will bring players to the future plane of Kamigawa, and Streets of New Capenna will bring urban fantasy to life, allowing players to engage in the criminal underworld. Additionally, recent releases have included the Strixhaven School of Mages, Kaldheim and Modern Horizons 2, all expanding on existing lore within the Magic: The Gathering universe. Past crossovers with external partners have included Secret Lair drops for The Walking Dead and Godzilla. The announcement comes on the heels of a recent collaboration between Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons, two immensely popular Wizards of the Coast properties.
